Getting a South Carolina Marriage License
A South Carolina marriage license is required before any marriage ceremony can be performed. A license may be obtained in any county in South Carolina and never expires.
There are two ways to obtain your marriage license in South Carolina. One way is for you as a couple to apply in person at any South Carolina probate office. You must show proper ID one day and return at least 24-hours later to pick it up. Contact the probate office to determine what you need; different offices require different things. Remember, both parties must be present to apply. The license may be picked up the next day by either party. This process could happen well before your wedding date. In South Carolina marriage license have no expiration date.

Many hotels in the area are suitable, even remarkable; but these hotels, and Realty Company, are ones we recommend with confidence as we have known the families who run them for many years. When you make contact, allow them to know you are booking a wedding and/or reception with us and they will take care of you and give you the best rate possible! While each hotel offers something different, you can expect superb service either way you go. If you are interested in renting a beach house or condo unit White Realty is the way to go. Many of their properties are even located close to the sites we like to use for our beach weddings.
